Here's my set up at any rate. Bolt just fits crosswise. Plenty of room for ammo plus extras, small magnifying glass, mt chamber indicator, pen. As long as it's not too wet I can keep my ammo reasonably dry by lowering the lid.

Ahaa! I see, I was trying to utilise the 100 round capacity as well. But yes, I can see that would be a tidy set up on the mound.
