    RCBS Chargemaster improvement

I noticed a bit of advise on AccurateShooter.com, Line Noise Filter For Reloading Scale. file:///Users/Adam/Desktop/Line%20Noise%20Filter%20for%20Reloading%20Scales%2 0within%20AccurateShooter.com.webarchive
advocating using magnetic line filters for such devices as the RCBS Chargemaster, to reduce erratic readings. I'm interested in peoples' experiences with these filters: what did you use, did it work, etc?

How heavy is the power supply? If it is light it will be a switch mode (like your typical cell phone charger now), if it is relatively heavy it will be a transformer and diode bridge. Both of these produce a lot of noise and harmonics which the equipment will already be designed to deal with.

    Found your article.

Line Noise Filter for Reloading Scales within AccurateShooter.com

They are not magnetic as described in the article, but meant to cut out electromagnetic radiation (in and out) of the power cord. To be of most use to the scales it would need to be connected as close as possible to the scale end.

Yes-ish. They get lower the amplitude of the higher frequencies that will be in there.
