For the money, the Deltas are possibly the best value - same or better glass ( same factory) as NF. That there are so many new companies coming out with scopes suggests the margins are very good in that market
Hey its easy to throw shit when you are one eyed about the best!
There are a lot of scopes made in the same factory but the difference is the amount of Qc that goes into them.
The one thing I never recommend I buying are scopes that end up having nobody in nz for warranty issues or just go out of production a business.
Weaver and nikon come to mind!
I actually do recommend Leopold vx5's to people that can't stretch the wallet to my preferred glass !

The last shipment of large rifle primers didn't last long on the shelves. Anyone in the know for when the next lot may arrive?

allegedly BRS shipment due later this year large enough to satisfy and exceed demands in NZ (I'll believe that when I see it), nothing concrete hopefully someone in the know will have more info ?

I'd go niteforce if I had the spare money. Seen review where they took it off, used it as a hammer, put it back on and still good to go.

I bought a S&B PMI 2 because I had dreamed about one for over 20 years. I would say its not as bright optically as my Kahles or meopta but it tracks around the target perfectly always returning to zero.

Makes my Howa look wicked too.

What else wold expect from an S&B scope? I have a S&B PM 10X42 once abused by the NZ Plod, It is as clear as most current quality scopes and tracks like a new one
originally saw service on a Accuracy International and has the rifles Serial number and has return to zero feature, I have only shot out to 600 yds it performs great
it is not going to wear out in my life time

I think I have gotten to a point of deminishing return with scopes . My eyesight is far from what it used to be and I cant tell the difference between a Swaro and a Meopta. I was surprised by Meopta and Kahles though, the PMI is heavy but its a small price to pay for how cool I feel.

I had a 26" fluted Lothar walther tube fitted to the gun. Makes a cheap medium range hunting rig, scope cost $2000 second hand, recknagle rings included.
