    Reloader 7

    Is anyone using Hercules reloader 7? and in what calibre?

    They continue to produce it, The Hercules powder R7 was produced by them at the start until the company sold in 90's or 2000? this I am not clear on.
    Other than now Reloader 7 is produced by Alliant .

    Yes I have done a bit of reading, looks like Alliant kept making it after Hercules disappeared.

    I reload my .17 fireball with 15gr #7 under a 25gr hornardy hollow point, don't think I will by anymore, when I run out, as benchmark just as good, and easy to find.

    Yep I tried Benchmark, #7, H335, several different bullets.
    Once I got good Brass, I went from 1" plus, groups at 50M, to well photo's to tell the story,
    This old Sako L46, is the most accurate rifle I own, right now, consistant 5 shot, less that 1" groups with different bullets and powders @100m, Most likely sticking to benchmark once reloader #7 is gone, fills the case better,
