I use 120 pro hunters and 120 NBT in my 20" mod 7.

H414 gives more velocity than 2209. I'm running the 120 NBT at 2980 with it.

Be interesting to see how much faster the Hodgon Superperformance is.
I used 2209 in my Swede but I use 2208 in my 260 and creedmoor

You using lighter bullets in the .260 and CM?
Did you find the 2208 gave better velocity and/or accuracy or did you just give it a go, it worked and you stuck with it?

I use 120 SP in the 260 and 123 amax in the Creedmoor. I had a play with Quick Load , 2208 showed the cleanest burn and allowed 10% less powder for the same speed (compared to 2209).
3mm groups at 50m with the 260 and 1/2moa @ 100m with the Creedmoor. No pissing around so yeah just stuck with it. I did use the Hornady gauge to seat both 15 thou off the lands from the get go.

Hope that helps, let me know if you want specific load data.

Have you done any load development using 140gr bullets?
It would seem (based on everyone elses loads) that 2209 was the preferred powder for the 139gr, 140gr, 142gr bullets.

Not in the 08 based cases. Only in the Swede and I used 2209 for that.

Sorry for the hijack, I am Just chipping in regards the 6.5 CM, I have loaded from 40-43gn of 2209 and 140gn projectiles and a single load of 45gn of 2209 pushing the Sierra 120gn MK.
Best load for my precision rifle with the Hornady ELD 140 and Sierra MK 140 is 42gn of 2209 pushing it at 2720avg, group size is 2/3" or better at 100 meters, the 120gn was not a fully development just a play with the following result, 1.25" or better group at 100 meters at 3035ft/s avg.

Hope it gave you guys some "light".

    Cheers

    Mac

I run H4381, 120gr Balistic tip or 125gr partion, think 49 and 47.5gr, cant recall speeds, but just under 3000 for the BT, touch less for the 125gr, Lapua brass and rem 9.5 or CCI 200 primers.
125gr, find game, stalk in close, touch of the thunder stick, wander over with the knife,

    Lapua, 130 Swift. (2209)
    Lapua, 123 Sst. (" ")
    Lapua, 140 Amax. (" ")
Nothing hot but very consistent and accurate.
