Thread: Reloading 6.5 Grendel Subsonic ?

I do that with my 243.
Take 6-10 rounds of the lightest varmint bullet I can, ie 6mm x 55 or 58 gr Vmax etc over trail boss. depending upon how much powder I stuff in that gives me 1500-2300 fps, Basically a 22 WMR. Good for Possums and goats out to 50 mtr.
Easy to differentiate in my case as I only load the small VMAX bullets over trail boss and the long VLD types 87-108 gr are all full power hunting loads.
