Didn't even know such a thing existed!

Cheers mate, will get one for sure. Unless anyone has cheaper ways to accurately measure seating depth?

You can adjust your FL die to just bump the case shoulder back .001". Wouldn't bother with neck turning unless you have a tight neck chamber.

I prefer neck and FL bushing dies (Redding and Wilson) and seating dies in those brands too. However, with my 6.5 CM I've found Wilson neck bushing hand die and seating die using an arbor press I get the least run-out of all. Anneal every firing on an AMP annealer.
I'm shooting a 6.5x55 but am having thoughts of an AI
Neck turning isnt all that hard if you take that spring out of the hornady tuning unit. Theres a knack to letting the brass centre as you're slowly using a power drill. After a few goes it gets fairly easy.

I have a Sinclair neck turner which I haven't used for years since I had a 6PPC. With factory chambered rifles the neck clearance is usually anywhere from .004"-008".

There is some theoretical advantage in slight neck turning a case for a factory chambered rifle to even out the neck wall thickness (i.e. skimming off the high areas) especially if using bushing dies. However, I've never been able to see the difference in accuracy so don't bother.
