Yep its right at 2700 fps from an 17 inch barrel. Holds 1000+ ft lbs to 800 odd yards.

Think ill try some single load ones here just to confirm whether my early pressure is from deep seated projectiles. If so then ill probably keep some single load eld x and load a shorter 150gr projectile that I can ramp up and mag feed. Has a dialable scope so can adjust for different POI.

yep im still using the old Amax's. Yeah the high bc just keeps hanging on eh, lighter pills start out way faster, but loose speed fast too.

Just ran some load dev yesterday and interesting enough, my sweet spot for accuracy is 52.5-53 h414 with the 162 also. 19 inch bbl, loaded at 3.12 ish.

Didnt chrony but both groups were stacked so im picking sd&es will be good also

Update on this thread. Mag. Loaded some sierra game kings 150gr and loaded some 150gr eld x at 3.13 for single loading. Both ended up at 53gr w760 and shooting well to same POI with no more sticky bolt lift.
Has been a good exercise for me when loading with data not specific to the projectiles I'm using.
