    Short barrel .243

Could you get enough velocity from a suppressed 20 inched .243 with the105amax/Berger to be useful.
Just trying to sort the next project out.

A 1n10 with lighter pills an faster powder wouldn't be bad. But wouldn't recommend n165 in a 18 tube shot a max good still tho

Had no probs with mine - 19"barrel with suppressor.
Savage etc have 1-9.25 twist as standard so would be a better choice is going for the heavier projectiles.

They are no problems with right powder. What did you use?

I don't recommend n165 an 18 I had double burn an was exploding in my suppressor an was harder on it than my rum

    Just using good old 2209.
Put a little bit of W760 through it as well and no probs with that so far, but will be working on a load with that in summer so I'll know if there are issues then.
Im only using 85gn sierras in it at the mo.
Have used 100gn federal loads and they were fine weight wise and killing wise in the short barrel.
