That's fair honkin for such a shorty. 45gns is pretty hot?? Or not?

Real hot I'd say. I don't even use that much of BM2 with the 120's

That'd be a 260?


41.5 is about max I've found in x47 in my rifle. Any more gets some sticky bolt etc

ADI says 44.5/2209 is okay for a 142 in 260

Id say its a 260 as you wouldn't fit 45gn in a 6.5x47 case

na it is a 6.5x55 75 finnlight,ther are 8 off us using this load,my mates tikkas are doing just over 2750fps with standard length barrels,its not hot i was using 48grns of imr4831 and getting 2820fps but that was silly so went back to our go to load cheers

That load is very similar to my 6.5x55 Buzzman. Info on either the 260 or 6.5x47 is of more interest to this though. I have a short action so it would be either of those...

But why would you?

I'm getting 2700 with a 20inch .260 and 140 amax with 44grains 2209 pretty warm load tho

People do a lot of things that confuse me.

Haven't chrony'd mine since barrel chop, but was getting just under 2,800fps with 129gr SST's out of 20" barrel (x 47L). Now 18" & changing to swift scirocco 130gr. Must do up some test loads
