yea, been painstakingly weighing out powder on balance beams for years. Frustrating doing anymore than 20 odd. But kept telling myself for the price of a fly in trip I could keep doing it.
Selling a rifle gave me the excuse I needed

That's only 3 of the balance scales I was looking at. Maybe I should reconsider though I like time in the reloading room

I hate it as I always wait untill I run out of ammo then have to load hundreds at a time and would rather been doing something else.

Maybe I should keep saving. But I don't reload that much that it bothers me yet

Yeah I hate balance beams, my digis are quicker but still require your complete attention and manual feeding so still uber time consuming.

Yeah thats what I used before getting what I currently have. Horrible. Tweezers make it a bit easier when you overload them.
The ones I currently use I got for $30 from trademe and are accurate to .02gn and give very consistant loads but still take too long.

And the best bit (which I never mentioned) is I don't need to buy one cause now I know where I can borrow one
Left the US on the 28th so I suspect VC is right and customs are having a fiddle.

Toby make yourself a dribbler, bit of 25 mm PVC pipe, glue a floor into it drill an angled hole thru it to take a small length of brass tube of small dia, with a small hole drill in the centre, put powder in pipe and turn the brass tube back an forth and it will dribble grains into your scales, experiment with hole dia that the powder falls thru
