    Life's tough at times
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

I had to take a days holiday off work to do it though

The group was shot off a bipod and rear bag laying in the paddock.

    Good work Tahr!

What was your impression of the TMK on bunnies...explosive or pretty hard?
Please let us know how they perform on deer (no pressure!)

it was hard to tell. None of them were over 140 yards so they were all a bit ugly. No more explosive than the 69 grn Targex, and they go ok on deer.

    Cheers

I have some TMK, 69 and 77gr 223, have not yet got them to do better than the SMK factory stuff from ADI and PMC. I am 150fps short on velocity mind. Just got some BM2 as I hate compressing powder (2208) and its going to be max loads by the look of it to get there.

What gun btw? ie a bolt action, AR15 or what? Its also a hell of a MV for a 223 69gr...

anyone else find you need to be hot with a 223 and the SMK/TMK btw?

There are no pressure signs and its a fairly standard load for me. Used it previously with same weight Targex.
Compressing a load doesn't worry me. You have to really to get a good case full and decent performance.
This load was with Winchester cases.

I've chronoed the load many times previously with 2 different chronos.

Rifle is a light weight Savage.

Be keen to hear what speed you get with BM2 and 69g, I've just started loading for my 223 using BM2 but with 55g, don't have a chro ether

yeah sure, I will post, I have finished loading 69gr and 77gr 223 in 0.4gr increments. Still got other loading to do though got 12 x 303brit and 350odd x 308w

I have not loaded 55gr or 62gr with BM2 yet, might load a handful of each to try.

Sorry but I will be some weeks I suspect, I lose my car shortly for some weeks. Well its the wife's car, LOL and she's going to the "mainland" for a bit so its going with her
