I just came across this simple rough and ready wind MOA calc for the 308
Take range in hundreds of yards - 1.
The above MOA is at 10MPH so fraction correct for more or less wind
Correct for angle 1 at 9'oclock, 0.75 between 10 and 11 oclock and 0 at 11ocock plus
Example,
So at 900yds its 9 -1 = 8MOA
at 5mph its 8MOA/2 = 4MOA
at 1030am wind is 0.75 = 3MOA
Above 600yds its a bit high for Wind but ball park below....so 3MOA would be a worst case.
