    t3 7mm-08 162 eldx load

    juat picked up a little used 08 and just wondering if theres anyone out there thats found a good load with those projectiles.
    45 of 09 not bad but over mag length.
    Any ideas appreciated

    @Pop Shot runs 162 Amax in his t3 708, but I'm sure he's running long action mag etc.

    Yup! As mentioned above, I'm running the 162gr Amax over 42.7gr 2208 for 2650fps (20" tube). Seated nice and long (2.910" from memory). Seems to shoot alright eh.

    Yip have them going 2600 in my t3 with 20 inch barrel. hornady brass, 41.5gr of 2208 and 2,810" shoots 3/4 Moa out to 600yards. Haven't taken that many animals yet but seems to be a bit tougher than the old amaxs

    the 45 g of 09 went quite a bit tighter than the 41 of 08.

    162 AMAX - 42 grains adi2208, stock rem 7mm08 barrel at 24 inches, 2650 fps

    Look forward to seeing results. Been thinking about doing this for awhile, have 150s but keen to try 162 out
