Thread: Targex 175gr .308

Anyone shoot the Targex 175gr .308 bullet? What BC's are people using out to longer ranges say 600y plus? I plan on switching my 308 to it once my 155HBC's run out.

yeh mate im switching from 178eldx(unobtanium) to these Targex- 66g rl17 for 3065fps and pressure on primers- so will back off 1 grain - re sighted rifle(tikka 300wsm/vx5) a couplee weeks ago- shot gongs 470 and 666 yards with ease- animal test this weekend hopefully.
BC i input into Strelok as .555 , worked awesomely out to 666 yards, no faffing around- just clean gong hits from on my backpack.

BTW- ive used Shooter app for 10 years- Strelok I found a lot easier for validation/data input etc.

Thank you for that information, yeah i use AB because for me their custom curves have been spot on but im slowly getting convinced to jump to Strelok haha.
