Thread: Tell me about the 300SAUM

I had a moment of weekness, I now own a 300SAUM. I know bugger all about it apart from what I have read on Nathan Fosters website. What's everyone loading in them?
If I don't reply, Mrs has probably buried me somewhere down the back of the farm.

I am shooting the 208 amax out of a 300wsm gone great so far great groups and the hind ive shot with it didn't know what hit her

Sendero or model 7 ?

Hmm from what I have read I think the 178 Amax doing about 2950-3000 will be pretty potent. Rifle is model 7 action, 24" tube, carbon fibre stock, threaded and has a MAE stainless suppressor on it which I may swap for a dpt. Comes with dies and 200 brass so shouldn't be too hard to get it up and running.

have used 180's in my wsm, shoots 1" groups which is average compared to what it shoots the amax and targex.

Ok Ryan - I owe you bigtime cause I saw that rifle and by the time I'd worked up the courage to do something about it (and worked out what I'd tell the Cook) it was gone and I was saved!

I thought about the consequences after the fact haha, gave the guy a call and had a chat and that was me done, hit the button before I hanged up the phone.
