    These primers OK?

    Hi friends,

Has anyone seen/used primers like this before?

Had to lock down with the father-in-law and returned home last night to find I left my primers in a cooler, more southern aspect of the house over lockdown. Now some of them look like this and I'm wondering if they're still OK.

Nope, just sitting tight in their original cases - they're only a month or two old.

Sorry - relatively new to reloading and the lingo.

You mean load them into an empty case and fire to see if they go bang?

Hmm, it's only the Magnum primers that have done it but I only have my 7mm08 here.

Reckon I could smack one of the magnum primers into an old 7mm08 case and give it it try?

What do you expect they should look like, to make you ask??
It's those yellow/green coloured spots in some of them - they were all red last time I looked.

If that's normal, that's great but I'm relatively new to this and wanted to check with some experienced people before I loaded a heap of rounds then had to buy a bullet puller.

Well, chose the greenest, weirdest looking one and it still went bang.

    Thanks everyone for your help!
