    Tikka 6.5 Swede 120g vs 143g

Am using 6.5 x 55 Swede 120g nosler bt which work awesome with 2209 but have been yaring to a few mates that are shooting 143g hornady.
    Any1 using 143g? Your thoughts?

Shot two Sambar with that bullet in my 6.5x55 and no issues. Load is 49 grs AR 2213 SC with the 143 gr ELD X for 2754 fps. So far love the ELD X

I did exactly the same move some time ago but with the 140 amax.

Started with a very accurate load of 120Bt infront of 2209 but couldn't get the same sort of accuracy using the same powder with the 140
Moved to VThV 560 for the bigger pill and all was well again.

120g is a good size pill very accurate but 143g seen to have that more punch power. thinking 2209 might not be as good for the heavier pill?

I ran the 143 eldx in the t3 superlight 6.5x55 I had. 46.5 gr of 2209 with the bullet seated out quite long. 2780 fps and it shot .5 moa at 400 yards with ease.

    Edit

    46.5gr 2209
    Fed 210

I used 2209 with 143s to good effect. V560 is a bit pricey. H414, superformance and rl16 would all be good for some easy speed I would think
