My wife just purchased a new Tikka 6.5 PRC 24" to replace her Browning 6.5 PRC 26" she just sold.
I loaded up a ladder taking a guesstimate based on what worked in the browning hoping it would be close to the mark, 2217 in lapua brass with 143gr ELDX at hornady suggested COAL. Ladder from 58gr to 60.5.
Warmed up the barrel with the first 3 at 58gr which gave a 3/4 MOA group, 2890fps. Cleaned it, then ran the 58.5 load through. Looked great so made a change to the scope & ran the other 3 at 58.5 through and bingo. 2x sub half minute groups, 2940fps 9 rounds into load development & called it a day. A pleasant surprise considering how long i have battled with some other rifles to get them to shoot well. Be interesting to see if / how much it speeds up as we run some more rounds down it but pretty happy with the speed considering its not far behind what the browning was with 2 inches less barrel & a lower powder charge.
Ready to poke some holes through some deer
