    2840fps mate, i gone back to 300s
Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

What twist is your TRG Andy ?

They are soft, not hard to put a ring on them seating them compared to Bergers/SMKs.

A client tells me they a very aggressive/messy, bodes well for LR terminal performance, pretty typical of Amaxes in general.

If you want a tougher projectile use the Berger 300 Elite Hunter or Gen I if you can find them, the OTMs are a little hard at "normal" velocities for our game animals.

Its a 1in10 so will stabilize them no sweat.

Depending on individual throats & barrels the 10 twist "shouldn't" hurt the Amax jackets too much at the velocity you can push them.

Having said that the ballistic advantage will go to the 300s, assuming accuracy being equal between them.

yes but never as much damage or as big of exit holes compared to adams 30in edge doing around 2900 (mine are 2740)
hense why im thinking of going to 250s, but 300s still do the job just not as spectacular
