Hey, has anyone seen RL17 in stock anywhere?

I picked up 2 tubs on Sat & they had 3 more. I don't think they knew what they were sitting on. PM sent.

Exactly. Unless you can source a supply that will last you for ever. The reliability of supply is shite.
Despite its magical qualities I got rid of mine and moved onto a different powder. My usage exceeded supply.

I have enough R17 left to do 50 more rnds then when it is used up I'm going back to my old recipe with 2209.
It's just no point when you can't regularly get it.

What speed are you after? I can get the 162gr Amax doing 2640fps out of a 20" tube using AR2208 in my 7/08 without much fuss.

I've got just over a kilo here.. Christchurch

I have a long 7RM. But If I can get 2700fps from my shorter 7mm-08 I would be happy.
I have had good luck with 2208, but hornady reckon an extra 100fps using RL17, so I thought I better try it.
