Absolutely if shooting 300m or less but OP was also asking about using it in the 7wsm which is likely to be used for long range where the potential poor velocity consistency will cause him trouble.
I practice at 500m and 700m regularly and really noticed the difference between the win760 and ar2209 loads on target in my 3 cartridges.
Yep my chronograph has "ruined" 1 or 2 "good" groups (100 yds) where the measurement was sub 0.5moa but the ES and SD where too big meaning that for my long range work the load was unacceptable.
