I started sorting and preparing 22 Hornet brass at Easter. Now I've got close to 400 primed case RTG after lunch. It will be interesting to see how many I can get done this afternoon ready for goose culling tomorrow night.

I had one impact 2m low at 480m, and the occasional weird flyer at 100. The rifle would shoot 16-20mm for 5 shots, then toss one out anywhere up to 80mm away. Reading online this has been a problem with the 147 when launched at 3000 fps or thereabouts in some rifles. I know another user here has had some blow up on the way to the target.
I think it is to do with the individual barrel rather than being an issue for every barrel, but I'm honest enough with myself to know when something is a me problem and when it is an external source problem.
65rounds of 73g Eldm 223, 2206H and Federal 210 primers. Hope fully in the next couple of weeks I will load the remaining 70 223 ends and 50rnds of 308
165g TGK with 2206H and federal large primers.
I loaded 7 64gr game changers with 25.5gr 2206H and cci 450 primers, also 27 77gr TMK's with 23.5gr 2206H and cci 450 primers just to top up my 50 round deer medicine.
Should keep me going for a couple of years.
When hunting think safety first
Yesterday but yeah loaded these beautys 40x 166gn A-Tips
The green tips are factory Sako Blade 140gn
#DANNYCENT
Formed a few more 8.6 Blackout cases ready to go.
Neck turning an absolute necessity because of how thick the necks come out. Time consuming. But pretty.
Resident 6.5 Grendel aficionado.
Loaded a few with 400gr fp over 75gr AR2206H.
Velocity is thrilling, but diameter does the real killing.
7 Prc - tested Reloader 26 and IMR7828 - Not impressed by the results from the RL, but the 7828 has got my interest.
Some 223s, a number of 6mm Dasher rounds and of course some 243 and 308win.
Found my Saum cases to be a bit tired so I junked them - now to find some more.
243W loads with 4 different powders ( AR2208, AR2209, RL17, AR2213sc ) with Sierra TGK 90 gns, a new bullet to me. Will shoot these when next at the range hoping at least one looks to have development potential.
Greetings All,
GPM finally got out to the shed today to do some preliminary loads for load development for a friends .308. A few rounds were assembled with 150 grain Interlocks and the last of my old lot of AR2206H to use as fouling shots. I have not done this previously but why not. Next two rounds each using the 150 grain SST and 44 grains of AR2206H and 45 grains of AR2208. These will be shot for velocity and not for group. The idea is to validate the load data that I am working with. AR2206H has been used extensively in my .308 and other rifles so there is a good level of data here already but this is a new lot so a test is needed. AR2208 has been used in other calibres but not the .308. The test cases are R-P. Hopefully the test rounds will be shot and chronographed at a range day on Saturday and further testing during next week.
Regards Grandpamac.

Got a new sako 708 I’ve been playing with. It shot sub moa with my old tikkas hand loads at 2705fps with the 140 bt. So I’m wanting a bit more speed so had a box of Barnes TTSx 120 gns sitting around. Pressure tested three loads up to book max. No pressure with book max so loaded up 6 and sighted her in at 100yds. The hole on the far right is a screw hole. Few clicks left and I’m pretty happy. 2970 fps Es 22 SD 9 for 5 shots through the chrony. Off hunting this weekend hopefully - wx pending
Sorry 45 gns of 2208 , Remington brass , Fed 210 primers and 12ogn TTSX barnes
loaded NOTHING
but did go into gunworks shop and bought single tray of large rifle primers....man that place has a HUGE selection of projectiles and powder..picked up a tub of lilgun but at just over $100 it got put back down again..... I dont use bugger all of it and still got some left.
