@No.3 That would make a nice necklace for someone. When the got asked, "What calibre is that?" They can reply, "Farked calibre!"

Another 50 Hornet rounds, same as the last batch. I'm getting more consistent COAL since I've been taking the time to measure and batch the projectiles by length. Happy days!Name: 20240608_225627.jpg

After going to the range today to re zero my 308win howa after sitting it in a new stock and doing a scope swap, they were old handloads I had no intention of replicating I just wanted to be ready incase an impromptu hunting opportunity came up....
She drilled 10 rounds into just over 1" .......decided I better go load a few more up
Next order I'll grab a couple more boxes I suppose as I only had about 30 projectiles left
165gn BTSP over ADI2208 doing just shy of 2600fps.....happy days

I loaded 30-30 super sonic yesterday and got it zeroed with my day / night digital scope

Then today i tested some Trailboss loads with 170 grain cast lead powder coated gas check bullets
Started high and kept dropping powder charge until it went quiet.

Then set up the scope on its B setting to zero the subs at 50m

All set up for this winter's culling operations

These are the subs groups using the super sonic zero

I loaded my .54 flintlock. 1 high cold/clean bore shot, then 3 into 2", then a final shot after sight adjustment. I wasn't having a very special day with my eyes and was having trouble holding vertical against the diamond aiming point, but good enough for 50m shot across my knees. I do like the holes this rifle makes.

After scoring a cheap Howa 1500 the other week I finally had all the necessaries since chopping it to 16". 10 shots of load development is plenty for this bush pig. About an inch with 2208 and Fed 210's. Just loaded em to mid range and OAL as tested in the Speer manual

175 round nose, plodding along at 950 fps just the ticket for dealing with pests you bump into when you don't want to make a big noise doing so.

I loaded up some of that 6x45 Brass yesterday .
Up until now I've only used Sierra 85gr hpbt projectiles that were my first option and they shoot 1/2 Moa at 200m .
But I also have a reasonable amount of Hornady 87 gr hpbt projectiles , so while loading up my load of the Sierra's I made up some Hornady loads to trial .
Sierra 85 gr on the left - Hornady 87 gr on the right , both loaded to the same Base to Ogive length .

C'mon MD ....need photos or it never happened
How deep did you seat them? Sounds like they didn't group well if they ended up in two places.
