I haven't done any loaded in over six months. Been trying to perfect 1oz 12g slug reduced loads but gave up after things started to feel a little dangerous pressure wise.

Loaded some 300 win mag with 150g coreloc's as I'm running out of my usual 150 fusions.
At 525 yds they shoot 4 inches lower. I can live with that.

Got a new load sorted for my 284.
    150gr eldx
    54 gr 2209
Doing 2800fps out of 19inch barrel.

I have changed powder from win760 to 2209 due to getting annoying pressure spikes with the 760. I’ve lost about 40fps but have picked up slightly more accuracy. Gone from clover leaf to one ragged hole 😆😆

Well I'm guessing that didn't happen in Whanganui lol. Nice. Range? What brand are the Sticks?
I know a lot but it seems less every day...

Due to the exorbitant cost of reloading components, warning shots will not be given.

Range about 60 yrds. The name on the sticks says vanguard. It might be me but I do wobble a bit on them, best is just to relax and do things slow otherwise its a bit hit n miss, not easiest to use.

looking at it..posibly throw one leg out towards front, other two out to sides so you can lean forwards somewhat by loading weight on front leg....it might help remove wobbles. nothing to loose giving it a go.

Yes a three prong, it might just be too light n a bit flimsy, I'll swap the v onto my camera tripod tonite and see how I go, but old age sucks.

I’m “Hearing Ya “ but 2009 was a lot different from 1999 which is what I was talking about .
I’m sadly old enough to know what shooting a sub 30 cal round was like way back then , both in performance and attitudes from fellow hunters .
That was a time of “ No Deer “ and if you were lucky enough to actually see one then you needed to hit it with a “ Big Bullet “
There was always the talk of the “Ex Culler “ who used a .222 , but those guys were only talked about in hushed tones while furtively glancing around .
