Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

The base plate with the exit hole in it for the brass should be dished towards the centre, this contacts the brass headstamp surface on its outside rim in one place only, causing brass rotation as the top disc turns, rpm can be governed to allow for a neck anneal only or slower to allow more of the shoulder to be annealed, simple but effective.

Really easy to make on a lathe.

Pedants put too much emphasis on getting annealing perfect down to the last 5 thou below the neck or shoulder, truth is as long as every bit of brass is done the same then they will give identical performance.

You can anneal the neck only for neck tension and brass longevity reasons or include the shoulder for fire forming and concentricity improvements

I have seen some Lapua, Bertram and federal brass annealed half its length, which I think is going a bit too far.

I have made a few over the years and give them away as mates need them, all variations on that schrockit machine.

They are very easy to make.

The big RUM and Lapua cases are a bitch to anneal as they like to jam in the exit due to their length.

Some guys can anneal effectively holding the cases by hand.

easy to do by hand the mistake most people make is getting the case too hot ... rotate it and dont go past blue in colour then drop in warm water to quench

I can build a pretty good fence but my engineering work has been labeled agricultural at best so that's why i was thinking of buying one instead of making one.

Sounds like there would be enough interest, for some-one who had the necessary machinery/tools and skill to do a run of them, and sell them to members maybe? I know I would be keen - doesn't matter what it looks like it just needs to work.
Cant have a beautifully looking machine and then have an ogre like me working it eh
