Thanks for the replies. Im going to go with a Lee aniversary kit, Lee stand and Lee delux die set and see how that goes...add in a hornady GS 1500 electronic scale, unless another is recommended? So about $500 all up...

Also recommendatiuons for a brand of digital calipers?

I wouldn't mind some better calipers but not digi. I have digi ones now and just dont trust them, probably me being queer but I like the ones with big dials and a needle.

With my digi calipers I take the battery out of them when not in use. I only use them now and again, and the power seems to seep out of them.

I got over 10 years out of the original battery in my Mitutoyos

Turn it off may stop the batt going flat?

I think the new ones have auto off on them

I have a 30 year old vernier Mitutoyo, but a fellow reloader had a digital one, far easier on my eyes these days....

99% of what I have on the shelf are Hornady dies with a set of RCBS thrown in for luck
I am getting 1/2" or better with them
