    Who's shooting a 360 2 1/4" BPE

    Who's got a 360 2 1/4" BPE they shoot ?

    I got a mould recently that I think is for a Paper Patch 360 2 1/4"

It throws a .365" 160 grain bullet with the original base plug
There is a longer and a shorter base plugs also.
So maybe a 140 and 180 grain option also.

It came with a rifle that when I checked the numbers it clearly isn't intended for

I have a 360 nitro for BP cape rifle close enough to 9.3x57r that I've resized brass for. Sadly I haven't been able to shoot it as the rifling twist requires 190 grain or less projectiles. This could be my lucky day

A pulled projectile from an old cartridge. About 155 gr, express bullet, hollow nose with copper cap and flat base.

Yeah it's much the same size as the 38-55 but shot a pretty light bullet
I guess it was just the Express rifle craze the british were into.

Got to be good for shooting something modestly sized like a Fallow or Roe deer.

The 38-55 with a bigger slower bullet still has more appeal to me.

The mould and accessories is on its way to @Marty Henry for a play.
Hopefully a paper patch bullet works for him.

I would have tried it in one of my 38-55s but already know they like Powder Coated 250 grain plus pure soft lead cast bullets
