Lol happens all the time with winchester last time I brought it I lost 5
Deal with it or buy better quality brass all you can do
I bet there was exactly the specified # of cases in the pack too. In which case it is an entirely reasonable question to then ask to explain to you why their compentencyc in scounting cases doesn’t extend to quality control ....
Make a claim to Winchester direct not the retailer or importer, Winchester's packaging is crap those silly plastic bags are no protection
against even minor abuse let alone the rough handling they get from the dickheads working warehouses and retail shops

I was short on a box of Hornady gas checks an Email to Hornady USA and the next day I had a call from Steve's wholesale to say they would send a new box
free of charge,
It's worth a try you never know your luck.
Shocking
got some winchester brass for a 270 wsm the whole 50 where no good
Several years ago I bought a box of factory winnie 150gr 308 in the box was one with the headstamp 243 win, pulled it out and it was 308.
Good brass is hyland or privi, loaded ammo is almost as cheap as winnie empty cases.
I just returned a bag of 7mm rem mag, 6 of them stuffed and the first two reloads (book min) split the necks! Had to FL the few that I did load. Absolute rubbish!
Was thinking of getting some new Winchester 300 Win Mag but the quality control looks like crap, maybe a rethink needed.
you lot are enough to put me off win brass.
I have used hornady in my lever action. have to full length resize and trim every time. then after 5-6 reloads I have to start checking for head separation Lapua in my tight bolt action neck size only and no trimming at 5-6 reloads. 243 108gr @ 3000fps.

Makes you wonder what the quality of the cases that 'appear good' are....
Id give up on those cases for good, you might get a nasty surprise one day.

Use enough gun
Well I have just finished resizing 50x 308 Win brass to 358 and everyone of them went just fine. They all looked good.
Only comment I would make was that I found some variation when I put them through the head space gauge. Spent some time altering my die case by case then I worked out that was not the problem.
So weather it was the brass or variations in the amount of lube I don't know.
