For me, not so far. So I'm interested to see if there are common ideas across the responses, ie one type of projectile across many different calibres that keeps being mentioned.

I get that a pill in one rifle may not work as well in another, just after the general drift of responses.
I'm thinking an easier question would be,

    Ford or Holden, or

    Blonde or Brunette, or

    Size 10 or 16, or

A cup or..... you get the picture

    GS Custom HV for hunting

Anything else for fun shooting. It would be boring just sticking to one type of bullet.

FMJ for all hunting. I like to injure the deer so their mates come to help them out of there, then I lob a grenade in and get multiple deer from just one shot.

I use Hornady interlocks. Quite accurate, cheap and kill as well as anything else. You can't really argue with them.

I tend to go for the Interlocks, but if I cant get them in the calibre/weight I want then I will look around for a Sierra Prohunter.

For pistol sized hunting bullets I will use either Hornady XTP's or cast my own.

Haven't done a lot of hunting, but been getting practice at least.

223 I use 55gr Horandy softpoint. Have nailed heaps of rabbits, hares, wallabies and a pig with them.

243's I use 100gr Sierra Gameking or Speer SPBT. Both seem to be the same ballistically. Have used on the same as above and targets out to almost 600yd.

7mmRM's Seem to like the 162gr A-Max, all I've tried so far, and only on paper and steel to 1000m.

I mean when you kill something it's not to say it doesn't die any more efficiently either way but the Nosler Partitions are my absolute favorite. They just seem to kill exceedingly well!

I've had real mixed results with Ssts particularly up close so I've put them into the Long range type. For most of my stuff which is sub 350 the Partitions just kick arse
