@Maca49 not wrong the 204 is a cracking calibre.
They still fall into the reloading thing.
And the previous comments about cheap 223 ammo is pretty relevant also.
I still see it as a pretty cool little cartridge. It isn't a lot dearer than a 17hmr but the big thing is rifles.
They need the strength of a centerfire but need the bolt design of a rimfire. The 17hmr was an easy fit into existing designs, semis not so much.
The previous comment about having one in an AR type semi isn't a bad idea as it would be the most powerful.semi we would be allowed but they cost a shit ton.
If someone like H+R did one in their break open rifles that would be a very affordable option.
At the moment their are only about 4 rifles made for them.
It certainly doesnt help the market share.
Ammo back in the day didnt always help but ironically I believe all the ammo is made in the same factory regardless of packaging.
The initial rifle offerings of the thin barrel b mags with a crap stock did hurt them.
They do have a.passionate following in the states.
