    GAME KEEPER ON DUTY

He s out in the sunset to night on duty waiting for dinner to arrive.Got this mongrel last night, but he s fussy what he eats.Gets a rabbit every second night,i throw the big ones away, but he catchs a few small rabbits every week now.Try to keep his weight down,ye right.About 3 metres in front of him last year,a fallow yearling walked onto the lawn.

He doesn't look like he misses to many judging by those flanks. Fantastic.

I had a cat like that once... Burmese... hunted rabbits with a passion. He often brought home the small ones he could carry and chewed them up in my garage. You'd find just a pair of ears, or a bit of fluff and an eyeball. Sometimes two or three a day. He loved playing "fetch" with a little plastic mouse but we had to give that up because we'd tire of the game before he did and then he'd go out and catch a real mouse and bring it inside. I have two female Burmese at present and while they love eating rabbit they prefer me to serve it up to them. Too bloody lazy to catch their own. Tarts.
