for staots n weasels or small ferrets. meat as bait.we have drilled a heap of 10mm holes in back of ours as havent caught a plurry thing in 2 years.dont think the wee hole provided looks "tunnely" enough to temp something in.one we have is hair trigger . peg well or put big rock on top. check weekly /monthly/when you going past as its a kill trap....

We used to sell a few when I worked for the RC but they never took off like the Timms Possum Trap. They are a kill trap so don't need regular checking. Best bait for Ferret , stoats etc is rabbit followed by Hare and possum ( keep fresh bait in them) eggs work if you have nothing else. The DOC 200 kill traps are a better trap. You can use Victor possum traps dug in and lightly covered with dirt. You should make a run or tunnel to direct the stoats over your trap. Have the trap set between the entrance of the tunnel and the bait and set them as fine as possible. Ferrets and stoats can't resist exploring a tunnel or hole as this is where they find there natural prey.
