    Looking for magpies for taxidermy

    Hi All,

If anyone out there is shooting magpies and you don't have a use for them I would like a pair of adults for taxidermy. I'm based in the Manawatu.

    Look forward to hearing back!

    Many thanks,

    Chase

I was just going to suggest that most magpies shot are probably a little worse for wear

Depending on what you are shooting them with. Shot gun is usually fine but hollow nose .22 not so much. Let me know if you get one that looks presentable! Put it in the freezer and give me a message 👍Thank you

I’ve a couple but you might want some thick rimmed small glasses and some springs so you can fix the springs to the glasses and the add the eyeballs to the springs.......might be easier than trying to push the eyeballs back in.........mind you me mum used to say if ya did that the tongue would poke out

Hi I’ll be down in Marsterton between Christmas and new years and will probably knock a few over with .22 subs. I will be happy to give them to you if you haven’t got any by then. I guessing you would prefer body shots rather than head shots.
