Yeh the factory mount adjusts for all Piccatinny/weaver/dovetail rails, interesting design

The Lynx is well over 100 shots per fill at its current power setting of around 20fpe, the Leshiy is set to 14fpe at the moment and gets around 65 shots per fill.

PCP's are very under rated by lots of shooters who've never tried them out. Highly effective and also very discreet and much safer than a rimfire especially when you don't want to annoy the neighbours.

I've had a .22 BSA Scorpion for years and it's been a brilliant little rifle. Interested to hear from anyone whose moved from a .22 to a .25 and if you noticed much difference in knockdown power on possums?
Those older BSA's were very good! I love the MMC cocking action! The Leshiy in the video has .177, .22 and .25 barrels and is adjustable in power up to about 40fpe in .25. There is a huge difference in impact energy between. 22 and .25, the pellet weight jumps up from around 18gr up to 25+gr and along with the larger impact area it really smacks targets harder.

@Mintie, thanks for your editing and posting. I wonder, will a dab of white paint inside the pellet skirts make them show up clearer in the movie?

The air venting and condensating in the image could also be reduced by a piece of steel venting it to the sides, a la, Soviet SMG, but then again it looks quite dramatic so not necessarily a problem. (-:

@Mintie without hijacking this thread, can I ask you to recommend a good place for anyone to do more research into these pcp air rifles?
Wouldn't mind finding more out about them.

Believe me, you don't need anything gruntier than a 40ft-lb .22 PCP for possums, long as you intend to shoot them through the head or high shoulder. It's a shame (for me) there are bugger-all possums round H Bay though the numbers are slowly building back up. I once had a dedicated 10-22 possie gun but sold that after the Reg Council spent zillions wiping them out

Happy to help out with any questions etc, I've had heaps of PCP's in my time and keep up to date with most of what's going on out there.

Another pic from this morning, permitted of course

A nice short barrel, no wonder you get quite a puff of condensation on camera. The soviet side vent muzzle 'brake' will not make it rifle length as the cops measure back from the front of the rifling.
