It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
When I set some traps last I had quite a few that had been set off but only had a piece of fur left in them is there a way to stop or minimize this
pretty difficult to know without seeing how you set your traps, I used to have mine a hands width from the tree, and the chain side to the tree, start the flour bait about 15 inches off the ground above the trap, other than that I have no secret method. Out of probably 100 traps I might have had 3-4 sprung with no possum.
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Cheers that for that oneshot I've been starting my flour about a hammers length above the trap I'll try moving them out from the tree this weekend and see how I get on
