Great stuff, a caliber every keen rabbit shooter should own, devastating on small game and with a suppressor an absolute pleasure to shoot.

All my SLR are canon. some years ago, I was crazy and brought a 80-200mm leans, too damn heavy, never used in field. I am considering to buy a Sony, after the end of this pandemic.

That's the good thing with these super zoom bridge type cameras, smaller and lighter than a DSLR and no big interchangeable lens to cart around.

It's good enough for what I do anyway.

So so tempted to get into an HMR - I feel obliged to stay with the .22 - I cannot quite explain why I feel that way, though guessing the HMR would make the .22 redundant in that anti-rabbit role.

Awesome vids like these just help solidify ( for me at least) next options - esp now I own add-on night vis. great rabbit setup surely...

The rifle and him were shooting damn well, so off to the orchard on Sat arvo to find some rabbits....

Great vid!!! What brand / weight ammo did you go with ?? Not touched 17 HMR though curiosity could get better of me...

I have always found the Hornady 17gr V-max shoots the best.

Had my mate out in the orchard again yesterday with his T1x 17hmr again. He's going good, his first two shots found their mark at 140 yards, then he dialed up and drilled a rabbit at 205 yards. He's well happy.
