I went into my local shop to purchase a new CZ457.Disappointed in the quality I came home with a nice second hand CZ452.Someone had attacked the bolt with a file to clear the scope. After tidying up the bolt, polishing the sear & fitting a lighter spring I have myself a nice quiet magpie stopper.Cant believe the accuracy of this thing?

Yip, usually catch 2 or 3 a year in my high country traps with winter colouration but have not caught one this year so far. I strangely caught a weasel in the middle of summer locally that had almost a grizzled white colouration.

Im totally stoked at possum control on farm. Haven't seen one in probly 5 years.
However I do miss them on nights like last night when the hares are being elusive.
Once upon a time I'd be out till the battery ran flat in torch.
Foxies in tow walking the farm taking out possums.
I look at that one possum Tiroahunta and feel a slight twinge envy. 👍

Been slow going, only got two possums a few nights back now, seems like they've buggered off somewhere as i haven't found any the last two nights I went out.
close to a kilo in fur but thats with about 20 possums, although looking back at the photos I might not be doing the best job

Another one of the little buggers.
I was blaming my dogs for pinching duck eggs. Perhaps not.
