Jeez peep sights are useless when you stalk in too close!
Yet somehow I think the goat would disagree with that.

    Probably.
But if a goat ever says something you agree with, you should be very wary of that goat. It's up to something.

Was enjoying a late full English breakfast when the phone rang. It’s the neighbour over the road and they have spotted a goat in their bush paddock. A goat? How did that get there? Must be an escaped pet. What do you need done to it? Shoot it? OK.

Very sociable setup, prone on the deck. Tikka Super Varmint .223 Rem. shooting a 50g Z-Max. Range 333m at +18° in the light rain. Complete with an audience too.

The winter skins are beautifully soft and thick. I was hunting the Bennetts walllaby in the McKenzie area. I assume the Damas up north would be the same.

Managed to get out for a walk last night with the young fella I took deer shooting a couple of months ago. Spotlighting for hares and anything else that popped up. Young fella's Hammerli .22 semi decided it was having a day off and wouldn't feed, fire or extract most of the time-- he gave it to me to carry while I handed over the .204. Ended up with 10 hares and two possums. Didn't manage any photos. Also forgot the two plovers he exploded with the .204. Haven't chased hares etc for ages and first time for him. Trip to the gun shop this for him I think .....
