    @Shearer Yup, rabbit makes good bait! I send some to Greater Barrier Island where they have caught over 200 feral cats!
    This week I'll be setting 5 or 6 DOC200 traps around the river, bridge, Gorge where I've seen ferrets on more than a couple of occasions.

    For the one or two days these were living in the bush edge they did substantial damage to the regenerating broadleaf trees.
