Just back from the first outing for the new season. I bowled 45 with the 53 rounds that went bag, 2 wouldn't chamber. Total around 150 for the three shooters. Need to do some reloading.

Have watched a mum and part grown baby possum walk the fenceline in thick grass to our two beloved wild apple trees these past two nights in the thermal. Switch on the spotlight and no can see in the tall grass. So tonight they found a surprise waiting. Three traps with yummy flour icing sugar and aniseed lure. This morning...both are sitting there with a guilty look on their faces. Might just get a bumper crop off them this year, as they are loaded with buds. Seems to be once every three years or so they do a bumper crop. Other years only one or two apples?? Weird with wild apple trees.

Will have to leave a trap there on overwatch I think.
