Thread: where can i rabbit shoot, christchurch?

hey does anyone know where i'm legally allowed to rabbit shoot in christchurch? apparently waimak is prohibited.

You just need to be absolutely safe and have a rifle that's shot in.

The waimak doc office issue small game permits that allow you to use rimfiresand shotties between dawn and dusk in certain riverbeds just call em up. The closest one is the lower Ashley about 10min out of rangiora. I've been there during the day and seen plenty of fresh sign. Best spot appears to be a small meadow to the left of the main track about 300m back from the true left side of the river
