    You should have got like 14kg of fur from that lot haha . I pluck everything off the possum but the tail . Too bad there isn't any possum numbers around here like that or I would have a new car Dale haha . I bought a nice quad for possums here and two months later they all got poison bombed .

    Yea if the fur price was the Same as 4 years ago it would be even better I hope it will go up again soon . 600 bux for two days is still good and the tax man sees none of it

    I strip all I can off the bloody things, the fur buyer has never mentioned it. Round here it takes anywhere from 12 to 20 for a kilo depending on season size and patience.

    Was gunna say, 6 kg seemed very light for the amount shot.
    I used to average 1kg per 15 possums.
    Have got a 1.1 kg off 9 big Haast buck possums once.

    I just checked and the two rubbish bags full look big but still only a total weight of 7odd kgs I'm going to have to brush up on the technical side of plucking haha
