I have had blow ups with 168s in 308w, its about sd I beleive, now pushing 178s 200fps faster and havent had any blowups, even shot two reds with one shot.
They are MESSY up close tho

I sold a 300wm and recently brought a 300wsm so am doing a bit of research, have never had a short mag before

Im running 63.2gr of 2209 out of 20inch barrel it is very hot tho work ur way up ther
