Thread: 22-250 PPU 55gr on game

I used it when i had a 250, shot 7 or 8 fallow one sika and a couple of reds, they all died quick.
One red was a mature hind through the shoulder and had holes through both shoulder blades.
Not a very big sample size but I never used it much hence why I dont have it anymore

Took the rifle out today after bore sighting it and the PPU look promising. Last group sub MOA, 1.5 inches high, and at estimated 3400fps should be good out to 250. I’ll put a few of these in my pocket as the fallow deer load for now. Chrono battery was dead so couldn’t check velocity out of the 20inch. Also did a ladder with some reloads which I’ll write in the reloading section
