Well finally pulled finger and rezeroed rifles today. My .223 is slumming it with her Leupold away to doctors she has kahles fixed six on top. Six rounds had me where need to be,tried five of the 70 grn load and they will be near enough for sub hundy usage any day of week,as in print in same small group.was crappy wind today so didn't try out long, zeroed to be about inch high at fifty and called it good.out for walk tomorrow so see how we get on.

Yes speed kills faster, unless of course it's a head shot.

I use the Hornady Zombie max on the wallabies with very impressive results (especially through the 22 250).
The Z max were a bit of a promotional projectile at the time produced for Zombiegeddon.
Basically the same as Hornady v max if i am correct but with the green polycarbonate tip.

Bullet construction is actioned by velocity. It's hard not to believe in velocity when you shoot a deer with a .223 or a .243 and then pour the chest contents out in a red soup.

Those hammers seem to work really well for a non-lead bullet. I am likely to get some of the heavier, tipped versions to try.
