    Don't shoot.
Start with a sfp scope that has a decent reticle and learn how to use it?

An unexpected encounter but the little 223 did the trick again.
Iv shot a lot of pigs over the years but Im yet to shoot one that's had a stick stuck in its mouth, though everyone on the internet seems to be able to find them. I must be looking n the wrong places.

It's only if you shoot them very early in the morning or last thing at night when you catch them cleaning their teeth.

Yep. Learn what the reticle ( preferably with elevation/windage marks ) subtension is at various power settings ( you probably going to use max power anyway ), verify for the load you’re using, and good to go. For all the lazy pricks out there Chairgun, Strelok et all give good guidelines to start with, still need to calibrate and verify though. Have used both ffp and sfp over the years, each have their good and bad points. My 2c.

AH porcine toothpicks. It all makes sense now. I obviously attract pigs with poor personal hygiene.

You getting these sort of results consistently with this wee sako bullet? I'm assuming factory ammo here...?

Try 26 or even 26.5 grains. You'll have to trickle it in slowly and then compress it

    Care to be more vague?

I know the answer to both, was a hypothetical question.
