Went for a walk yesterday evening, had to be some deer grasing after some heavy rain. Evening weather was good till about 7.45 started to drizzle. Spoked a red hind. Walked 50m around the corner and there was 8 or so reds (hinds and spikers). Couldnt quite get a good rest for her and the wind swirled. They were onto us and gone. Carried on another couple hundred metres and spotted this nice fallow with his head down by himself. Set her up....waiting waiting for the right shot. Bang, jumped up went aout 20m and down. Good adrenaline rush for her haha. Fat as too!
Wifes first fallow buck, 2nd deer with her .243 using 80gr GMX
