Nobody recommends the 150g? I was gonna try hornady 150g but by the sounds of it 130g must be the go to

Yeah 270 kills with speed so unless you can hand load 150s and up the speed 130s are the way to go in my opinion

I handload for my .270 - 140gr Hornady sst, 59 grains AR 2213 SC ADI, Primers - Large Magnum rifle - Federals .270, 85 mm overall cartridge length. Velocity is 2916 feet/sec so not too hard/hot on ya barrel. Bloody accurate and hard hitting projectile. Good luck!!!

I all ways shot 130 gr factory and reloads in my Schultz and Larsen for 1" to 1.5" 5 shot groups at 100yds. Prior to a Thar hunt I decided to try 150 gr Norma for 1" 5 shot group but the cheap PMC 150's I got for practice did 1/2" 5 shot groups at 100. I still have not been able to equal that with my 150 gr reloads.
Velocity is thrilling, but diameter does the real killing.

130 PMC's here as well. Been the best on paper, and everything it's been aimed at has fallen over. Got some Highland to try at some stage, so hope it's as good
