Thread: 270win on Wapiti

As others have probably already said, a 270 is a big cartridge, easily large enough for the biggest bull you might encounter. 140 or 150 gr loads seem pretty available, in the country around there you will be well within range by the time you see them.
I wouldn't bother with anything fancy, just get a good solid soft point in that heavier range and just see what works best for your shooter for accuracy.
